Police hunt for offenders behind Thornbury bakery hit and run
A Thornbury bakery was badly damaged in a hit and run incident, with police searching for the two offenders who escaped the scene.

Police are hunting two men who were involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident in Thornbury, where a local bakery was smashed up in a car crash.
Emergency services were called to Crosta D’Oro bakery on the corner of Clarendon St and High St just after midnight, in the early hours of Anzac Day.
According to police, a white Toyota Corolla drove through a red light at the intersection on High St, hitting another car and forcing it off the road.
The victim’s vehicle crashed into the front window of the bakery, causing significant damage to the building.
The two male offenders continued to drive for several hundred metres on Clarendon St before stopping the car and escaping on foot.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police investigations in relation to the incident are currently underway.
