Northern Health has rolled out its free annual flu shot program in Epping. And this year, you’ll barely need to get out of the car.

Northern Health has launched its free influenza vaccination program for 2020 – from the carpark of its NCHER building.
Medical staff provided the first batch of vital flu shots to community members at 187 Cooper Street about 9am.
Once drivers entered the site via Cooper St, they were instructed to leave their vehicle and wait in a designated waiting area.
Depending on the weather, flu shots will be administered inside or outside the research building.
Community members could not return to their vehicles until observed by nursing staff for 15 minutes after receiving flu vaccinations.

A Northern Health spokesman said there was sufficient, free parking on site.
The Epping hospital also encouraged people to arrive five minutes prior to bookings.
Bookings are essential and can be made on fluvac.nh.org.au/
Appointments are between 9am until 5.15pm every day, including weekends.
