The driver of a parcel-delivery vehicle could only watch as thieves sped off with the van containing other people’s mail on March 6.
Two men had been following the Australia Post van in a four-wheel drive, before the van parked outside an address on Moray St, Diamond Creek about 10am.
The crooks waited until the driver got out to deliver a parcel before stealing the van.
It was later recovered in Challenger St.

“Most of the parcels that were on board have been recovered and delivered today.
“For any missing parcels we will contact any senders or addressees of the items that we can identify.”
