Police appeal to find stolen StarTrack van loaded with parcels after delivery driver assaulted in Newtown
A delivery van loaded with parcels was stolen this morning and was last seen travelling on the Princes Hwy in St Peters after the driver was assaulted and robbed.

A delivery van loaded with parcels was stolen this morning and was last seen travelling on the Princes Hwy in St Peters.
Police have asked the public to keep their eyes peeled for the StarTrack van, which might possibly be carrying Christmas gifts, after the driver was assaulted and robbed at Newtown this morning.
Police said the the delivery driver was exiting the vehicle, just after 10am today, when he was pushed to the ground by an unknown man who stole the van with NSW registration BS50WA.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Edgeware Rd, after the van was reported stolen.
Police said the van loaded with parcels was last seen travelling on the Princes Highway.
Officers from Inner West Police Area Command attended and have commenced an investigation.
Detectives are seeking to locate the van and would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The man is described as wearing a high-visibility vest.
The vehicle is a StarTrack van with NSW registration ‘BS50WA’.
