A motorcyclist has died following a nasty crash in Campbellfield this morning.
Police believe the male motorcyclist collided with a white Toyota Camry on Sydney Rd, near the intersection of Ainslie Rd, about 6.55am.
The motorcyclist, who has yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The male driver of the Toyota was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are investigating whether speed was a factor in the crash.
All northbound lanes are closed on Sydney Rd, at Ainslie Rd, while police investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
It is the latest in a string of horror incident on Victorian roads in recent days, with another motorcyclist fighting for life in hospital after a crash in Deer Park this morning.
Another scooter rider flown to hospital in a critical condition yesterday following a suspected hit-run collision on Kooweerup Rd in Pakenham South.
