An 18-year-old has been killed in a fatal rollover during a weekend away with mates on a rural property east of Bendigo over the weekend.

An 18-year-old has been killed during a weekend away near Bendigo with mates.
Police were told a ute with four people inside rolled over on private property on Hoods Lane in Moormbool West about 5.30pm on Saturday.
An 18-year-old man from Eltham died at the scene while the three other were uninjured.
The driver, also an 18-year-old from Eltham, was interviewed and released pending further inquiries.
It is understood the teen and the other occupants were school friends and members of the Eltham Football Club.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives say the exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined.
