Two teenagers attacked by group of youths in Coburg street attack
A teenager has been slashed with a knife and another beaten to the face after they were set on by a youth gang in Coburg. Police are now searching for up to six assailants who ran away after the incident.

A teenager has been slashed with a knife and another hit in the face after they were set on by a group of youths in Coburg.
The boys, aged 17 and 18, were walking along Rennie St when they were attacked from behind by another group of teens near Irrelach Lane about 9.30pm on February 12.
Senior Constable Alistair Parsons said the group of five or six male youths assaulted the pair before running away.
“The 18-year-old Reservoir man sustained a slash wound after being assaulted with an edged weapon,” he said.
“The 17-year-old Preston boy received head injuries and significant bruising to his face.”
Moreland Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for anyone who witnessed the group or with dashcam footage of the group in the area to come forward.

Five of the teens are described as of Mediterranean appearance and one was caucasian.
Most of the group were believed to be wearing black ‘Nike’ clothing.
