You’ll see a lot of growth in Melbourne’s northwest over the next few years.

Work is set to begin on the long-awaited Melbourne Airport rail link, after a heads of agreement was signed by Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Premier Daniel Andrews earlier this month.

The multi-billion dollar development would travel through a new super-station in Sunshine, after it was named as the proffered rail route for the line.

Further north, we’ll see a new-look train station at Rockbank and a new station between Rockbank and Melton called Cobblebank, which will help form the new township.

Plans for a new Melton Hospital and a new secondary school in St Albans are also on the cards.

Here’s what else to expect in your suburb.
