The $750,000 for town improvements will go to better laneways, pavements, more trees, improved lighting and space for street art around the CBD.
“I’m really proud to deliver these projects for Sunbury because they will provide vital services to our growing community,” Mr Bull said.
Picnic and barbecue facilities, seating benches and shade are also on the cards.
Hume Council will deliver the projects.
The Sunbury developments will be funded under the Government’s Growing Suburbs Fund.
Also included in the announcement was a $300,000 commitment for the Bulla Village Tennis Club community pavilion.
“This pavilion development will make a real difference because it goes to the heart of building what families need in our community,” Mr Bull said.
“We’re investing in tennis facilities for Bulla because our community is growing and local projects like this will benefit families for years to come.”
