Ashleigh Fielding has been released on bail.

An alleged Coolaroo drug dealer has spent weeks behind bars after police allegedly found her and her boyfriend surrounded by drugs and a fake gun.

Ashleigh Fielding, 27, also known as Ashley Curran, fronted Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 10 to apply for bail for a second time.

A magistrate previously refused to release Fielding from custody after she was arrested when police raided a Flinn Crescent home about 12.45pm on October 19.

Fielding and her partner were allegedly found sitting on a couch in the living room with a clear bottle containing what police believed to be GHB between them.

Senior Constable Kristie Civney told the court a resealable bag containing a crystal substance was sitting on the coffee table in front of them and a brown imitation firearm was found in a nearby footstool.

Bags containing tablets and powders were also allegedly found in Fielding’s handbag in the bedroom.

Fielding was on bail after police raided the same property on October 8, 2019 and charged her with trafficking methamphetamine and cannabis, and possessing cocaine and cannabis.

The court heard she was unemployed and had been using drugs for seven years.

Lawyer Karen Chibert said it was Fielding’s first time in custody and if released she could live with her mother and be assessed for court supervision.

The court heard the alleged drugs had not been weighed or tested and the process could take months.

Magistrate Kimberley Swadesir agreed to bail Fielding, as there was a possibility her sentence could be less than the time she might spend on remand.

But Ms Swadesir warned Fielding to stay on bail she needed to stay away from her boyfriend, telling her the relationship with him was “over”.

Fielding was banned from associating with him and placed on a 9pm to 7am curfew.
