A two-year-old boy has been hit by a car on a residential street in Mildura on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Ontario Ave at 1.25pm after the boy was hit by a car.
The family of the boy had already taken him to hospital before police or paramedics arrived on scene.
The child is being treated for non life threatening injuries.
The driver stayed to speak with police and the investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
