Police have found the car stolen in a violent Mildura carjacking where one man laid on the road while the other, armed with a knife, dragged the victim out.
The car was found dumped on a residential street on Tuesday afternoon following the attack on Seventh Street near Walnut Avenue about 3.30pm on Monday.
“We thank members of the public for their assistance in helping us locate the car,” Mildura police spokesman said.
One man laid on the road, forcing the victim to stop his car, while the man armed with the knife approached his window and got him out.
Both men then fled the scene in the stolen car. Police are urging the community to continue to come forward if they have any information surrounding the incident.
