Mildura motorcyclist left with severe injuries after colliding with a car at intersection of Walnut Ave, Sandpiper Dr

Another crash on Mildura roads has left a motorcyclist with serious injuries after colliding with a car on the back of a fatal earlier in the week.

A motorcyclist has been injured after he collided with a car in Mildura.

Eyewitness Trevor Birch, who lives at the intersection of Walnut Ave and Sandpiper Dr, said the collision happened suddenly on Thursday morning.

“The car pulled out to chuck a U-turn, and cleaned him up. I don’t reckon he even saw him,” he said.

The front guard of the car was still strewn on the road and the motorbike was laid out in the parking lane, with police closing part of the road.

“His ankle didn’t look real flash, the rest of him looked OK, but I don’t know the ins and outs obviously” Mr Birch said.

The car has been left without a bumper.

“He is probably lucky he hit the front of the car, rather than the middle or it might have been much worse.”

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

It comes after one person was killed and another was left fighting for life on Monday.
