A Mildura man has been granted bail over an alleged Christmas crime spree last year.
Steven Pappin appeared in the Mildura Magistrates Court on Monday facing a string of driving offences and drug and theft charges.
Magistrate Michael Coghlan said if Pappin had pleaded guilty on Monday he would have been released, with time served already serving as an appropriate punishment.
Instead Pappin will reappear in the Koori court on Thursday.
Police allege in December last year Pappin committed a number of thefts — stealing bags, bank cards, IDs and money.
He also allegedly possessed cannabis and was caught driving an unregistered car without a licence on multiple occasions.
Pappin has been denied bail already twice.
Once earlier this month and again back in January because he did not have a stable address to live at.
Pappin, however, is now living with his father and was on Monday granted bail.
