Menacing Mildura masturbator Lindon Harris picked his victim because he once saw her naked through a window

A 21-year-old Mildura man sat next to his mum with his head in his hands as a court was told he masturbated in front of a woman’s house because he saw her naked.

A Mildura pervert has been was caught on security camera masturbating not once, but twice, in front of a woman’s house.

Lyndon Harris, 21, pleaded guilty at Mildura Magistrates Court on Friday, to charges including stalking and directing a sexual act towards another person.

The offending was made even more disturbing by the fact the victim’s children, who are under 10, were inside the home at the time.

Harris was supported by his mother in court and had his head in his hands at different times as the police prosecutor read out the details of his offending.

The victim told police she witnessed Harris masturbating on both occasions via her home security system.

She detailed on the first occasion Harris waved at her through the window while performing the vile act.

The court heard Harris showed remorse and made full admissions to the police, and claimed the reason for his offending was he had walked past the victim’s house once and saw her naked through a window.

A Victim Impact Statement was read out and detailed the profound and enduring effect it had on her and her young family.

Magistrate Patrick Southey called the behaviour “pretty disturbing,” and lamented that the strange and unusual act made it a troublesome case to sentence.

Harris was sentenced to a two year community corrections order.
