Four South Australian men have admitted to being involved in a violent bikie brawl in Mildura earlier this year.

Eight men were charged in June after two violent brawls at separate venues on Langtree Ave in the early hours of May 29.

Seven of the men appeared in the Mildura Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday where three pleaded guilty to affray and two to violent disorder charges.

Giovanni Lisastro, 45, Clifford Aisack, 50, John Habkouk, 27, Mitchell Crump, 27, and Guy Clift, 49, all pleaded guilty to charges including violent disorder and affray and received hefty fines.

The charges were brought after incidents at two licensed venues in Mildura on the one night.

The first incident occurred at Rumors Nightclub when a comment was made about the appearance of Lisastro’s brother-in-law who had terminal cancer on his face.

The court was told Lisastro threw a punch at a 29-year-old man which caused a larger brawl to break out during which Aisack threw at least nine punches to the back of the victim’s head and Clift kicked him at least twice in the legs.

Security tried to enter the room to break them apart but the court heard one of the men blocked the door, stopping anyone from entering.

The court was told Crump and Habkouk chased the victims out of the club to Honey Bar, also on Langtree Ave.

A second fight then broke out and Habkouk threw numerous punches and kneed his victim in the head.

A woman in her 20s was injured.

Magistrate Patrick Southey said it was a “disgraceful, cowardly incident” before dishing out hefty fines to Lisastro, Aisack, Habkouk, Crump and Clift.

Asiack and Clift were convicted of affray and fined $2500. Lisastro was also convicted of affray but fined $3500 due to having more significant priors.

“People probably deserve to go to jail for this but proving beyond reasonable doubt who it is, is very very difficult,” Magistrate Southey said.

“This is appalling violence.”

Crump and Habkouk pleaded guilty to one charge each of violent disorder and were convicted and fined $2500 each.

Michael Mazzone and Justin Mason will return to Mildura Magistrates’ Court in December for further contest mention.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of Joshua Kelly who did not appear in court.
