Dylan and Lindsay Garner: Rebels bikies fined over drug and weapon offences
A Mildura bikie caught with dangerous weapons when police raided his property last year, says they were a gift from his mum.

Two Rebel bikies from Mildura have been fined after police uncovered drugs and firearms during raids last year.
Dylan and Lindsay Garner were convicted in Mildura Magistrates Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to possession of weapons and cannabis and breaching bail conditions by associating with other gang members.
The court heard the brothers, who work for an earthmoving business, had three swords and cannabis in their possession.
On August 3 last year investigators raided Lindsay’s home in Irymple.
Officers found cannabis and arrested, charged and released on bail.
On the same day investigators from the Victoria Police Echo Taskforce and Illicit Firearms Squad, executed search warrants at Dylan’s home in lrymple.
Detective Senior Constable Meade found a bowl of cannabis and three samurai swords, which the court heard were a gift from Dylan’s mum.
Dylan was arrested and later released from the Mildura Police Station on bail.
Condition of the bail meant the pair couldn’t have any contact with Rebels members or associates, other than for employment.
But the court heard the brothers were with “many” gang members when police attended an Irymple home last year
The court heard they had been having a work meeting which turned into a barbecue, which Dylan admitted was outside the parameters of his bail.
Dylan was fined $400 and Lindsay $100.
The brothers had already served three days in custody for breaching bail.
