A Mildura man accused of trafficking multiple substances has been granted bail ahead of his committal hearing scheduled for the end of the month.
Joseph Toth, 26, was subjected to stringent bail conditions when he appeared at Mildura Magistrates’ Court on Thursday having been charged trafficking a commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, as well as trafficking cocaine and MDMA.
In addition to reporting to police three times a week and residing at his parents’ house, Magistrate Patrick Southey imposed a series of other conditions, including electronic monitoring via an ankle bracelet and the BailSafe mobile phone application. He is also prohibited from consuming drugs and alcohol, while a curfew of 9pm to 6am was also set.
“Don’t let us down, yourself, your family, your son, Mr Toth,” Mr Southey urged.
“I won’t be letting anyone down,” Mr Toth replied.
He is expected to appear before the Mildura Magistrates’ Court again on February 28.
