Crowds of people had a brie-lliant time trying all sorts of delicious cheeses and clinking their glasses of wine together at one of Melbourne’s most mouth-watering events.

The MOULD Cheese Festival 2024 kicked off at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton on Saturday, where attendees sunk their teeth into cheeses made by some of the best dairy companies across Australia.

Showcasing up to 80 varieties that span hard to soft, textured to earthy, stinky to mild, with raw milk varieties and everything in between, there were dairy delights to suit every palate at this year’s Mould celebrations.

The festival fired off in Brisbane in May, before heading to Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Perth.

The line-up of independent producers from the crucial realm of cheese-related accoutrements was also enlarged for this year’s event, providing festival-goers with a direct line to load up on the best olives, crackers, pastes and small-goods for their upcoming decadent at-home cheese session.
