A person in their 30s has died with Covid, as the state records more than 8000 new cases.
Victoria recorded 8744 new cases on Sunday and four deaths, of people aged in their 30s, 70s and 90s.
It brings the total number of deaths in the state since the pandemic began to 3034.
There are 491 people in hospital with Covid in Victoria, down from 494 on Saturday.
This includes 32 active cases in intensive care, with eight people on a ventilator
There are now 61,366 active cases in the state.
Casey continues to record the highest number of new daily cases in the state, with 460 new infections on Sunday.
This was followed by Wyndham (371), Greater Geelong (358), Monash (292) and the City of Whittlesea (286).
