A Melbourne man has been accused of a home invasion in the city’s north.
Bassam Tiba, 54 and of the notorious Tiba family, appeared briefly at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court from custody on Wednesday.
Charge sheets reveal that Mr Tiba allegedly trespassed at a Pascoe Vale home on January 21 while armed with a handgun and intending to steal.
It is alleged he was in company with at least one other person.
Mr Tiba, who is on remand for a different matter, will return to court at a later date.
