Man injured and flown to hospital following tractor incident at the Pakenham Racing Club in Tynong
A man has broken his leg and been flown to hospital following a tractor incident at the Pakenham racecourse, just hours before the Sportsbet Pakenham Cup.

A man has been flown to hospital after he broke his leg in a tractor incident in the state’s east.
Emergency services were called to the scene at the Pakenham Racing Club on Nar Nar Goon-Longwarry Rd in Tynong about 2.30pm on Friday.
“A man in his 40s was treated for leg injuries and flown by air ambulance to the Alfred in a stable condition,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said.
A club committee member onsite said the man broke his leg as a result.
The incident occurred just hours before the Sportsbet Pakenham Cup, which commenced at 5pm.
CFA units from Tynong were also on scene, where it’s understood they arrived to assist with traffic during the cup.
