Shield team of the tournament announced

The best players from this year’s Herald Sun Shield division one and two boys competitions have been recognised in the team of the tournament.

AFL Victoria have announced the Herald Sun Shield senior boys team of the tournament.

The future stars in the team comprise of boys from both the division one and two senior Shield competitions.

Five St Patrick’s players featured in the side while Shield division one winners Whitefriars had seven players.

Padua College had five players in the team and MacKillop College featured two.

Lochie Reidy from Whitefriars College was named captain of the side and James Clark from St Patrick’s College was announced vice-captain.
