Outer East Football Netball is set for more changes.

The league has given the green light for Narre Warren and Berwick Springs to leave at season’s end, while making changes to its relegation criteria in Premier Division.

The way is now clear for Narre Warren and Berwick Springs to join Southern Football Netball League in 2025.

“The Board wish both Narre Warren FNC and Berwick Springs FNC every success in the future,’’ an OEFN statement read.

In the past two years, Hallam and Kinglake have also left the Outer East league.

With Narre Warren and Berwick Springs on the move, OEFN has now ruled that only one team in Premier Division will be relegated this season.

Previously it was going to be three teams.

The winner of the Division 1 grand final will still be promoted.

Meanwhile, Broadford, whose football teams went into recess this year, has told the OEFN they would like to pursue a transfer.

Pakenham has also revealed its exploring options.

Narre Warren, which sits atop the OEFN Premier Division ladder with a 13-1 record, wants to join the top flight Division 1 in SFNL.

Berwick Springs wants to start off in Division 2 in Southern league next season, but that will be determined by a SFNL club vote.
