Lobster lovers were in for a treat as they flocked to one of Bass Coast’s biggest seafood festivals on the weekend.
Hundreds of people made their way to the Kilcunda Foreshore for the lobster festival on Sunday from 10am.
The annual community and fundraising event that supports a good cause, draws nearly 7000 people each year, coming to enjoy all things lobster.
One of the most popular activities at the event is the “Lobster Spinning Wheel”, where ticket holders can win a freshly cooked lobster.
The wheel spins every five minutes between 10am and 3pm.
The festival last year had about 5000 people enjoying the entertainment throughout the course of the day, and this year’s event was just as successful.
Families experienced live music, market and food stalls.
Skating events were also running on the day, to celebrate the opening of the new Kilcunda Skate Park.
The festival was also free of charge and is a summertime event not to be missed.
The Herald Sun came along to take photos of family and friends at the event, so check out the pictures to see if you were featured.
