RETAIL giant Chadstone shopping centre has teamed up with ridesharing giant Uber to install two designated pick-up and drop-off ranks.
The retail giant will be the first in Melbourne to offer the Uber zones at Tiffany & Co and Woolworths entrances.
A pin will automatically drop on the designated areas in the app, giving customers and drivers a co-ordinated meeting spot.

Shoppers spent nearly $2 billion at Chadstone last year, making it the highest-turnover shopping centre in the country.
But the centre has been plagued with parking issues for more than six months with shoppers complaining about hour-long delays to find a car spot.
Centre manager Michael Whitehead said Chadstone was always trying to improve customer experiences.
“Through this partnership access to the fashion capital has never been easier,” Mr Whitehead said.
The Chadstone carpark was labelled chaotic and a “major safety hazard” after shoppers were directed to a dark, gridlocked area in April.
CHADSTONE SHOPPERS FURIOUS OVER PARKING CHAOS
Stonnington Council gave the shopping centre the go ahead to expand the Coles carpark in March, with plans also earmarking a pedestrian walkway and more car spaces for parents with prams.
