The spring racing carnival has kicked off as revellers are set to descend onto the Caulfield Racecourse for the Sportsbet Caulfield Social.

The midweek race day will see regular punters and racegoers alike rubbing shoulders on October 16, with gates opening at 12.30pm.

Live entertainment, great food and a Q&A with Olympic swimmer Kyle Chalmers are on the roster to accompany all the glitz and glamour of the racing season.
