Cyclist allegedly caught with her pants down in Brighton

Police are looking for a cyclist filmed defecating on an immaculate driveway in Brighton.

Mystery surrounds the identity of a cyclist caught on video relieving herself in a swanky Brighton driveway.

The masked woman casually walks into an immaculate Sussex Street driveway, past large gates and then quickly crouches near the garden bed.

Seconds later she pulls up her Lycra tights, glances over her shoulder to check the deposit and exits the property.

The woman was wearing a bright blue bicycle helmet.

There was no sign of a bike.

The footage was snapped at 10.28am on Thursday and then posted on Reddit by a user claiming the vile act took place in Brighton.

The filthy act was filmed by security cameras installed by a local.

Users of the community website commented on the foul but rapid visit.

“That’s disgusting and also impressive. Some F1 pit crew tier speed,’’ one said.

Another guest said: “No magazines, no phone? I didn’t even know that was possible.’’

Police are investigating the incident.

A Victoria Police spokesman said the cyclist was described as a caucasian female, aged in her 30s to 40s and was wearing a blue bicycle helmet, black jumper, black vest, black leggings and white shoes.

Exercisers caught short is not a new phenomenon in Melbourne’s blue chip suburbs.

In May 2020 an incontinent runner was caught on CCTV defecating on an Albert Park man’s “iso garden”.

The filthy act was filmed by security cameras installed by a local in a bid to stop people stealing plants from the garden.

Shayne Whiteley, who maintains the small public garden, was disgusted to discover the footage.

“There’s a public toilet 50 metres away, and the bloke didn’t even wash his hands.

“I had to grab a shovel and clean it up, because the kids are in the garden all the time.”

Public pooing has also been an issue in Sydney with the most famous case brought to light by celebrity publicist Roxy Jacenko.

Jacenko’s 2019 bid to identify the mysterious jogger who kept relieving themself outside her Sydney office went global.

The Sweaty Betty founder posted numerous videos of a jogger making deposits between parked cars near her Paddington office and asked her 253,000 Instagram followers to help unmask the “poo-petrator”.

However, the woman’s identity was never publicly revealed.
