Christmas villains allegedly strike in the southeast in pre-Christmas alleged parcel thefts
Melbourne’s own Scrooge and Grinch have made Santa’s naughty list after two allegedly brazen parcel thefts, where one man was seen wearing a security vest.

Two men have allegedly made the nightmare before Christmas a reality for many Melbourne families after allegedly stealing a multitude of parcels in the city’s southeastern suburbs.
In images released by police, two brazen alleged thefts were carried out on December 17, where two men allegedly stole more than 80 parcels from two separate locations.
In true Grinch style, one man allegedly broke into the Florence St Post Office in Mentone using a jemmy bar at 4.30am.
Police allege the thief loaded up a trolley with parcels, before fleeing the scene.
He has been described as having a caucasian complexion, 175cm with a large build and long straight black hair.

In footage released by police he was seen wearing black gloves, a black security jacket, brown shoes and a black face covering.
On the same day, a second alleged theft targeting children’s gifts was carried out in Sandringham.
Police allege a delivery van filled with presents for good boys and girls was stolen from a commercial premises on Bay Rd in the bayside suburb.
The real life Grinch allegedly snuck into a van parked outside the property and sped away at 10am.
The van was later found empty and dumped near the Hampton train station.
Police allege the man involved is caucasian in appearance, in his 30s and 170cm.
In images released to the public, he was seen wearing a blue/grey hat, a blue jacket and long pants.
