A man has been hospitalised with serious injuries while another man has been arrested after a stabbing attack in Melbourne’s west.

A man has been hospitalised after an early morning stabbing in Melbourne’s west.
Emergency services were called to Thornhill Park where a man was stabbed at 5.30am on December 23.
Victoria Police and an Ambulance Victoria crew attended the scene, where a man in his 50s was treated for upper body injuries.
According to an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman, he was later taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition.
The alleged stabber – a 24-year-old Thornhill Park man – fled the Iramoo Circuit home after the alleged attack.
He was later found and taken into police custody.
Investigators believe the men know each other.
