Shocking video footage has emerged of an alleged drunk driver crashing into a pole with two kids in her car at Forest Hill.
Emergency services were called to Springvale Rd at the intersection of Canterbury Rd after reports of a collision about 4am on Saturday.
A preliminary breath test was conducted on the female Holden sedan driver who allegedly returned a reading of 0.241, almost five times over the legal limit.
Two children were also in her car at the time of the crash but no one was injured.
CCTV footage was captured by a nearby business Glenny Kebabs.
The driver, a 28-year-old Forest Hill woman, is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic related offences.
Her car was immediately impounded.
