A man is on the run after a late-night shooting on Warrigal Rd in Malvern East that left another man in hospital.

A man is on the run after a shooting in Malvern East late on Sunday night.
The shooting, which happened on Warrigal Rd about 11.10pm, left another man in hospital with gunshot wounds.
It is believed the two men are known to each other and the incident occurred after an argument started.
Police were called to the carpark of a block of units on Warrigal Rd after reports of a man being injured following the shooting with armed crime squad detectives are investigating the incident.
Paramedics arrived shortly after 11pm and took the victim of the shooting, believed to be in his 50s, to hospital in a stable condition with lower body injuries.
The shooter was last seen running from the block of units and police are searching for him.
Investigators are still working to establish the exact circumstances around the incident.
