A man has been left needing medical assistance after a rock climbing incident at Halls Gap this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene of Mount Zero Rd in Halls Gap after people nearby alerted them to a rockclimber’s fall around 1.30pm which left a man in a serious but stable condition.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed they treated the man, believed to be in his 30s, for a back injury at the scene before he was flown to hospital.
