Kinglake: Blackburn man hospitalised after cycling crash

A cyclist has been taken to hospital after colliding with a vehicle in Kinglake on Saturday morning.

The cyclist was riding along Heidelberg-Kinglake Rd before a collision occurred with a Nissan Navara around 10.30am.

The 50-year-old Blackburn cyclist was taken to hospital by helicopter after sustaining non-life-threatening injuries while a 29-year-old St Helena man, who was not injured, spoke to police.

Police confirmed they are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
