A 20-year-old Diamond Creek man has been fined $925 for driving a motorised esky through Lake Eildon.

He was intercepted by police on a dirt track off Walshs Rd on Friday September 23 where they issued an infringement notice for using an unregistered vehicle.

A 21-year-old Hoppers Crossing man who was driving a Mitsubishi Triton 4WD was also intercepted later that day on Walshs Rd.

Police spoke to the driver who was allegedly an unaccompanied learner driver and wasn’t displaying his L plates.
