A man is in hospital after an alleged assault in Shepparton on Tuesday night.
The alleged attack happened on Branditt Ave about 6.40pm.
It is believed the parties are not known to each other.
The injured male, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
