A man has died after his car veered off the road and hit a tree south of Shepparton.
Police say that incident happened on the Goulburn Valley Highway near Dawson Rd at 12.50pm.
The driver is yet to be formally identified.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated.
A crash occurred in a very similar location last year, resulting in the death of a Tullamarine man.
It comes just a week after 16-year-old Ruby Crowley was killed in a horror pileup at Pine Lodge.
