Arcadia crash: Driver found dead after passer-by discovered crash scene on Goulburn Valley Highway
A passer-by made a shock discovery in Shepparton on Sunday morning, when they came across the scene of a fatal crash.

A passer-by discovered a fatal car crash in Shepparton on Sunday morning, after a man lost control and crashed into a tree some hours earlier.
Police believe a car was travelling north along the Goulburn Valley Highway in Arcadia, south of Shepparton, when the driver, a 44-year-old Tullamarine man, lost control and crashed into a tree near Dawson Rd sometime overnight on Sunday.
A passer-by came across the crash just after 7.30am Sunday morning and called emergency services.
The male driver from Tullamarine, and sole occupant of the vehicle, died at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
There have now been 202 lives lost on Victorian roads this year, up from 162 at the same time last year.
