Dr Wod Al Khateeb named the GV’s best cosmetic injector

A doctor with experience across the world and in the military has been named Goulburn Valley’s best cosmetic injector.

A general practitioner who also specialises in cosmetics has been named Goulburn Valley’s best cosmetic injector.

Dr Wod Al Khateeb from the Dr Wod Cosmetic Clinic on Benalla Rd, Shepparton was revealed the best in the region after a recent vote by The Goulburn Valley News readers.

Known to her patients as Dr Wod, the mother of four has been operating in Shepparton since 2014 after a journey across Australia and the world.

Dr Wod has also previously lived in Goulburn, NSW after studying her cosmetics degree in San Diego.

With her family still in her homeland of the United Arab Emirates, Dr Wod said people in the Shepparton community had “become like family”.

“I receive a lot of support from my clients and I couldn’t be more grateful,” she said.

“I used to work in plastic surgery at a military hospital so I feel comfortable doing a lot of different types of work.

“People are really trusting of me which is an important aspect of the job.”

Dr Wod said one of her favourite parts of working in the community was making people happy.

“It’s something that makes me enjoy coming to work every day,” she said.

“I find a lot more people are starting to be open to cosmetic procedure and I look forward to continue working with locals.”
