Video footage shows parents fighting outside a Greater Shepparton Secondary College campus less than 24 hours after their children were caught brawling.

Two men can be seen wrestling outside the school’s McGuire campus in the state’s north east.

The Goulburn Valley News has been told the fight was in response to their children fighting a day earlier.

Security patrols were ramped up the next day but no charges have been made.

A Victoria Police spokesperson confirmed they attended.

“Police were called to reports of an altercation in Shepparton Thursday (12 August),” they said.

“Police attended Wilmot Rd about 12.15pm and separated parties involved in a verbal dispute.”

One witness, who did not want to be named, described the incident as “absolutely disgusting”.

The Goulburn Valley News has been told security guards patrolled the grounds on Friday.

Another parent said they felt incidents at the school “were beginning to get out of hand” and they “continued to worry about their own child’s safety”.

It comes only weeks after reports of a teacher walkout.

In another shocking video, a year seven student was told to “kill yourself” by peers on social media amid fears bullying is widespread across the Goulburn Valley.

The super school is on track to open at the start of 2022 and will merge four government schools into one mega campus.
