Braedyn Gordon remembered as ’kind natured’ man who always put others first

Family of a much loved Goulburn Valley man have remembered him as “the best brother” after he was “taken too soon” in a horror collision.

A community is mourning the sudden loss of a popular young man who was involved in many different aspects of the community.

Braedyn Gordon from the Goulburn Valley passed away on Tuesday and has been remembered by those who loved him as “caring and kind natured”.

Braedyn’s sister Teagan Gordon said her brother had the biggest heart and had so many plans for his future.

“Bredo was the most stubborn, big hearted person you’d ever meet,” she said.

“He was a lover of sports fishing, cars, boating and family.”

Braedyn’s life was tragically cut short in a horror collision between his truck and a car.

“He worked for a towing company and he was just doing what he loved,” Ms Gordon said.

“He did everything right in the situation, there was nothing else he could’ve done.”

Braedyn also leaves behind his dad David Gordon, mum Kylie Gordon, and other sisters Kelsea and Tahlia.

His mother, Kylie Gordon, took to Facebook to remember her “one and only son”.

“You were tragically taken way to soon and I will never understand. I never got to tell you I love you or goodbye,” she wrote.

“I don’t know how life will ever be the same again without our adventures fishing and you dragging me everywhere. I so want you back my baby boy.”

Bradeyn was also the loving partner of Jess.

“They were the most perfect couple,” Teagan said.

“He had only just turned 24 on Feb 1st and had so many plans for her and his future together.”

Teagan said he was the “best brother” to her and her two other sisters.

“He was the golden child, being the only boy grandkid,” she said.

He was remembered as a reliable player for the Picola United Football Club.

After he went to the club as a trainer in 2021 and said he would “play a game here and there” he ended up playing the whole 2021 season.

He took home the award for best reserves man in 2021.

“He was that sort of bloke who would always be putting others first,” the club wrote on Facebook.

Tongala Primary School and Kyabram Little Athletics have also joined those remembering Braedyn.
