An elderly man has faced court on serious driving offences after a woman was killed when a minibus rolled in the Goulburn Valley.

An elderly man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death after a minibus containing 11 people rolled in a horror crash in the Goulburn Valley.
The 10 passengers, including several senior citizens, were on a silo art tour of the Shepparton region when the bus rolled about 2.30pm on Murchison-Violet Rd in Arcadia South on May 20, 2021.
Echuca woman, Casey Spark, 40, died at the scene while three passengers, including her mother, were flown to Melbourne with life-threatening injuries.
Seven others, including the driver, were driven to hospitals in the area with serious injuries.
Following an almost year-long investigation, police on Friday announced the 75-year-old driver of the minibus had been charged over the fatal crash.
Bruce Slater, of Gunbower, appeared before the Shepparton Magistrates’ Court facing charges of culpable driving, dangerous driving causing death, negligently causing serious injury, dangerous driving causing serious injury and reckless conduct endangering life.
The matter was adjourned and Mr Slater will return to court on August 2 for a committal mention.
