Two people have been taken to hospital after they were burned in a fire in the state’s north.

Emergency services are on the scene of an explosion in Kialla after a fire left two people hospitalised.

Ambulance Victoria confirmed they attended the scene to provide treatment to two people following an incident at Riverview Dr.

One victim was hospitalised in a stable condition with upper body injuries.

The second person was waiting for an emergency response helicopter to arrive at the scene as they were believed to be in a serious condition with upper body injuries.
