Vermont South gunshots: Police investigating Livingstone Rd incident
The drivers involved in a crash that led to a suspected firearms incident while children were being dropped off at nearby schools remain at large.

Children and staff from two nearby schools were forced into lockdown after gunshots rung out during a morning drop-off in Vermont South.
Whitehorse detectives are continuing to investigate Thursday’s incident which took place on Livingstone Rd, near Dianne Grove on Thursday at 8.30am.
Gunshots were heard after a blue Volvo sedan and a silver Suzuki sedan collided, and both cars then sped off from the scene.
Two schools — Vermont South Special School and Livingstone Primary School — were in the immediate area, as was the Vermont South tennis and bowls club.
Pictures shared in a community Facebook group showed police blocked off part of Livingstone Rd and established a crime scene about a block from the schools and the sports club
A Department of Education spokesman said both schools “enacted their student safety procedures” due to the incident, and all students were safe and well.
The spokesman said the department had offered support services to both schools if required.
Police believe the two cars were seen travelling south on Livingstone Rd towards Burwood Highway.
