DUTCH teammates Scott Edwards and Fred Klaassen combined across the opening two games of the new Super Slam competition to give the Tigers an unbeaten start in the T20 tournament.
Klaassen flattened the Rams in game one at Central Reserve with the near faultless figures of 4-9 off four overs, before Edwards hit a half-century in game two against the Magpies.

Left-armer Klaassen had Ian Holland, Nathan Walsh and David King each removed for ducks as the Rams crashed to 4-2 after 2.4 overs.
That became 6-15 when Josh Hartill (3) and Patrick Ashton (1) also departed cheaply
Outside of Ben Hastie (20), the Rams’ top seven batsmen contributed four runs.
Klaassen later removed Brendan Walsh (33 off 30), with the Rams bowled out for 87 after the Tigers had earlier posted 8-121.
The new-ball combination of Klaassen and Marcus Berryman combined for a remarkable 6-12 off seven overs, with Berryman claiming 2-3 off his three overs as the Tigers posted a comfortable 34-run win.
Stand-in captain Edwards followed up Klaassen’s performance with the highest score of the opening weekend of the Super Slam, creaming 73 not out from 48 deliveries to lift the Tigers from 7-50 to 8-135 against the Magpies.
Edwards shared an eighth-wicket partnership of 77 with Brendan Rose, who contributed 21 from 35 deliveries, as the Tigers recorded a 32-run win.
Quick Dylan Hodge had earlier narrowly missed a hat-trick on his way to figures of 3-19 off four overs, reducing the Tigers to 7-50 in the ninth over to, seemingly, have the Magpies on course for victory.
But Edwards, who made his one-day debut for the Netherlands earlier this year, hit a counterattacking half-century, which included 8 fours and 3 sixes, to give the Tigers a 2-0 start in the new Premier Cricket T20 competition.
The Magpies could muster just 103 in reply. Oli Gunning threatened to answer Edwards’ knock with a half-century of his own but was bowled by Dom Matarazzo when on 32, while Hodge was the only other batsman to reach 15.
The Tigers sit second on the Stars Conference ladder, with the True Blues and Saints also unbeaten after Sunday’s double-headers.
