Yet another piece of land in busy street in the heart of booming Box Hill has been earmarked for the suburb’s next high-rise.

The block at 30 Cambridge St is likely to be the site of the precinct’s next major project, which could offer anything from housing or offices to a hotel or multi-level retail, according to a commercial real estate listing.

CBRE agents are looking for a firm to plan the suburb’s next towering development, which is just down the street from a similar site CBRE agents are also trying to find a developer for.

The compact 930 sqm block has 41m of frontage and is a short stroll from shops in Whitehorse Rd, Box Hill gardens and the railway station.

It’s in the heart of Box Hill, directly opposite the shopping centre and about 200m from the Station St retail strip

According to the commercialrealestate.com.au listing it is an “exceptional opportunity” for a high-rise development project suiting residential, office, hotel and high-quality multi-level retail.

Employment hubs including the Box Hill Institute, Eastern Hospital and Box Hill Hospital are close by.

The property will be sold via expressions of interest which run until May 8.
