M-City Clayton: Pan Pacific Hotels Group launch PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne

A 4.5 star hotel is the latest addition to a $800 million “mini city” in Clayton, joining Kmart, restaurants and cinemas.

A 4.5 star hotel is set to open at the $800m M City Complex in Clayton.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group will launch PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne next month, a full-service regional hotel, featuring 250 rooms and suites accompanied by a natural day-lit restaurant and bar.

The property adjoins the new M City Complex’s swimming pool, surrounded by landscaped gardens, a 24-hour fitness centre and pilates studio.

The hotel is located minutes from Monash University, Monash Children’s Hospital and Sandown Racecourse and Entertainment Centre, and is described as the “perfect venue” for students and academic staff, as well as medical professionals and sporting enthusiasts.

Developed by the Schiavello Group, M-City Monash includes luxury apartments, an entertainment complex and retailers including Kmart and Woolworths.

Schiavello Group managing director Peter Schiavello said M-City was set to become one of the most significant new precincts in Victoria.

“This $800 million development is a vibrant miniature city in itself, delivering premium office, residential, retail, entertainment and hotel accommodation,” he said.

The hotel will have 250 rooms.
