Man on the run after Endeavour Hills knife attack
A man is on the run after he slashed a woman in the stomach before taking her credit cards and fleeing in Endeavour Hills on Tuesday morning.

A knife-wielding bandit is on the run after a woman was left with a slash wound on her stomach in Endeavour Hills on Tuesday morning.
Police believe the woman was walking near Matthew Flinders Ave about 4.15am when the man approached her and threatened her with a knife.
He lashed out at the woman, who was left with a minor cut to her stomach, before taking her credit cards and fleeing.
Police are still searching for the man and investigating the exact circumstances around the incident.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
It comes after Leader revealed a surge in youths purchasing knives online for as little as $30.
Commander Tim Hansen said last month knife crime among street gangs was a “wicked and complex” problem in Victoria that has spiked by almost 40 per cent in the past five years.
“These attacks are killing our young people, our teenagers,” he said.
