Hunky Dory Fish and Chips founder Greg Robotis said they wanted to offer something more than traditional take away fish and chips.

“We wanted to create a comfortable and casual setting where customers could dine in and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with their food,” he said.

“We take pride in preparing and cooking fresh, tasty and healthy meals made to order. Our mouth watering seafood is delicious and tasty incorporating unique marinades and sauces that will keep you coming back.”

Mr Robotis said the chain’s expansion was “very exciting”.

“We just opened a Hunky’s in Epping and Balaclava, and had an overwhelming amount of support from the communities,” he said.

“We know this new store will be a great addition to Lower Templestowe, and we’ve already had positive feedback from customers who travel across town to get their Hunky fix, so having a store out in the north east will definitely make a difference.”

The new store is now operating in Macedon Square Plaza, providing the community with fresh and healthy seafood options.
