Glen Waverley: Shell petrol station on Gallaghers Rd robbed
A staff member was alone in a Glen Waverley petrol station when a masked man with a machete and a woman bailed them up. Police are calling for help to find them.

A masked man wielding a machete and a woman have held-up a Glen Waverley service station, fleeing the scene in a car with stolen number plates.
The pair entered the Shell petrol station on the corner of High St and Gallaghers roads about 5.30am, before the man pulled out a machete and demanded the staff member hand over cash.
The offenders took the tray of the cash register and drove away in a white Toyota Camry sedan with stolen registration plates 1MT 7CL.
They were seen travelling south on Gallaghers Rd.
Detective Acting Sergeant Nick Troake said the robbery was “pretty cut and dry” and no one was injured.
He said the male staff member, who was alone in the store at the time, had been left “very shaken up”.
“It would be awful,” he said.
Act-Sgt Troake said police were hoping to identify the robbers by the end of the day.

They’re calling for anyone who witnessed the incident or who might recognise the pair to come forward.
The male offender was wearing sunglasses, a face mask, a blue hooded jumper and black pants at the time of the robbery.
The woman was also wearing a blue hooded jumper and has been described as caucasian and aged in her 20s with long light brown hair.
